Just to remind people that the Forum for Youth Justice will be meeting at Kingsmere, Birmingham Youth Offending Service, on 1st April 2005 between 10.00am and 1.00pm.

Spike Cadman, NACRO and independant trainer, will be presenting on the Queens speech and implimentation of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 measures.

Given that it will be the fifth birthday of YOTs, I'm sure that we will get around to debating some of the changes we've seen and the directions for the future.

Victims of Youth Crime conference

Advance notice of a major Regional event for all those involved in Youth Justice irrespective of parent agency.

By a range of presentations and workshops it will examine the issues relating to offending and anti-social behaviour by children and young people, the impact on themselves, their families, those directly affected by their actions and the wider communities as a whole. Further details will be circulated.

Just a quick reminder that this Friday there is a meeting at Birmingham North Youth Offending Team at 10.00am.

There will be a presentation on the Family Therapy work being undertaken at that team.
